Hiring Steps
Consideration for an interview
- If we determine that your qualifications are an appropriate match with the job posting for which you applied, a Senior Human Resources Consultant will contact you to arrange an interview.
- You will be contacted by telephone at the telephone number shown on your resume unless you have asked to be contacted by some other means such as by e-mail or by telephone at either your cell or business phone number.
- Our interviews are typically comprised of three parties: the Senior Human Resources Consultant, the Hiring Manager and the candidate.
- During the initial interview and any subsequent interviews, you will learn more about the position you are being considered for. This is our formal process to ensure that your skills, competencies, attributes and interests are appropriate for the position.
- In some cases, short-listed candidates may be called back for a second interview with other members of the team.
- When the interview process is complete, the Senior Human Resources Consultant representing that client group will contact you to confirm whether or not you are the successful candidate for the particular job posting.
- If you are not the successful candidate, your resume will be retained for a period of six (6) months. During this time, your resume will be searchable by Human Resources in consideration for other job opportunities within the Ontario Energy Board.
