Guidelines for Electricity Distributor Conservation and Demand Management (EB-2008-0037)
Over the past years, the Board has, through decisions, orders, the “Total Resource Cost Guide”, the Framework Report and the Filing Requirements for Transmission and Distribution Applications, articulated various policies and regulatory requirements in relation to electricity distributor CDM activities. The Board has developed the Guidelines for Electricity Distributor Conservation and Demand Management as a comprehensive document that consolidates those policies and regulatory requirements.

Today, the Board issued its “Guidelines for Electricity Distributor Conservation and Demand Management” (the “Guidelines”). The Guidelines consolidate all of the Board’s policies in relation to conservation and demand management activities undertaken by electricity distributors. The Board has also issued a Notice of Hearing on Cost Awards in relation to EB-2007-0037: Guidelines for Electricity Distributor Conservation and Demand Management. Key dates in notice: eligible parties' cost claims due April 14, 2008; distributor objections, if any, due April 28, 2008; and eligible parties' reply submissions due May 5, 2008. |
