Baseline Documents for the Regulated Price Plan
The following are the most recent versions of all the Board documents required to implement the Regulated Price Plan (RPP). These documents include:
- The codes that set out the rules that apply to electricity distributors and retailers
- The "RPP Manual" which sets out the Board's price-setting methodology for both conventional and smart meters
- The "RPP Price Report" contains the initial electricity commodity prices that applied as of April 1, 2005 (and were set in accordance with the RPP Manual) and
- The "Ontario Wholesale Electricity Market Price Forecast" which was used as an input in the RPP Price Report.
Also included below are the pertinent Compliance Bulletins and a brief description of amendments made to some of the RPP Baseline documents since they were issued on March 11, 2005.

The Board issued an amendment to the SSS Code which requires that licensed distributors provide direct notice of their election to implement time-of-use (“TOU”) pricing. |

The Board issued an amendment to the SSS Code to provide utilities with the ability to implement time-of-use (TOU) pricing on either a mandatory or voluntary basis during the transition period. |

The Board issued an amendment relating to the application of the RPP Settlement amount. It requires a distributor to refund the RPP Settlement amount where the distributor is notified, within 3 months, by or on behalf of a consumer that moves into the distributor's service area that the consumer had an existing retail contract prior to moving and is therefore simply remaining on that contract. |
