OEB What's New RSS Feed
What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a standardized format used to publish and share website content, such as news headlines and other website updates.
To view RSS “feeds” you will need an RSS Feed Reader. There are several options:
- Download a free stand-alone Feed Reader program
- The latest versions of most web-browsers have Feed Readers built in, or available as a plug-in
- Sign-up to a free Feed Reader website (similar to web-based email services)
Use the search engine of your choice to find out more about Feed Reader options.
Once you have a Feed Reader you can subscribe to available RSS Feeds from your favourite websites. Websites with RSS Feeds will have the RSS icon [
] or a link titled ‘RSS’.
